Typeoff is an AI voice input app. Hold a shortcut key (Fn on Mac, Right Ctrl on Windows, customizable) and speak — it transcribes and intelligently formats text in real-time, typing directly at your cursor.

Typeoff is available on macOS 11.0+, Windows 10/11, iOS, and Android. The desktop apps use a global shortcut and support local offline transcription and broader system-wide workflows. The mobile apps work as system keyboards for voice input; some advanced desktop features are not available on mobile.

Data sent to Typeoff is protected in transit with TLS; this is transport encryption, not end-to-end encryption. Desktop local mode keeps audio on your device. Cloud mode sends audio and related context to Typeoff and the providers needed to transcribe or process it. See the Privacy Policy for what is processed and retained.
